As a visitor it is possible to join only a part of the program. \n  \nIn this competition all researchers from bachelor to post-doc are invited to present their research with a 1 minute pitch and a poster. \nThe first price for the PhD and post-doc is 200 EUR and the second price 150 EUR. For the bachelor and master the first price is 150 EUR and the second price 100 EUR. Prices are awarded for both the poster and pitch\, which makes that there are 8 prices. \nDuring the contest we will have a guest lecture by Dr. Evangelos Karfopoulos. \nDr. Evangelos Karfopoulos received the Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the NTUA in 2006. He received the PhD degree for his research on the “Optimal Management of Electric Vehicles for their efficient and effective integration into electricity networks” (NTUA\, 2017). \nFrom 2008-2019\, he worked as senior researcher at ICCS in the e-mobility area and distributed optimization under the supervision of Prof. N. Hatziargyriou. He has actively participated in several European projects\, undertaking the role of Technical/project Coordinator in many of them (ex. MERGE\, FastInCharge\, COTEVOS\, SHAR-Q\, NEMO\, FABRIC\, eCharge4Drivers\, Battery2Life\, eBRT2023) and national projects. Moreover\, he was external consultant of the HEDNO for e-mobility aspects (2016-2019) performing steady state and dynamic grid impact analysis of e-mobility\, developing the technical specifications for public charging stations as well as an OCPP 1.6 compliant EVSE platform. Moreover\, he served as external consultant for PPC (July 2021-May 2022) for the development of a sizing and feasibility analysis tool for hybrid RES/storage systems in non-interconnected islands (NESOI). Additionally\, he served as external consultant for OECD and the Greek Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation analysing the grid impact of the charging demand in TEN-T corridors based on the AFIR requirements. Furthermore\, he served as Senior Researcher at Intracom-Telecom focusing on distributed energy flexibility markets.\nCurrently\, he is serving as Scientific Project Manager at i-SENSE research group\, ICCS/NTUA working on e-mobility research projects and 2nd-life battery applications.\nHe is research leader in 2ZeroEgvia for pillar 2 “The integration of BEV into the energy system and related charging infrastructures”.\nHe served as a tutor in (Asymmetric) Power System Analysis courses in ECE-NTUA.\nHe has published a number of articles in scientific journals and conferences on the e-mobility sector with more than 1000 citations. \nWe close the event by a free drink. Everyone is welcome to come and watch. \nYou can submit your poster (PDF\, A3) and pitch (Powerpoint) here\, until\nthe 10th of March. We will print the poster on A3 format and combine all pitches. \nYou can also sign up using the registration form below\, if you want to submit your poster/pitch and abstract later and want a reminder on the 8th of March to submit your poster and pitch. \nNote: Please indicate if you are a Bachelor\, Master\, PhD or Post-doc on your poster and pitch. \nNote: Please refrain from presenting confidential information; the Poster Contest is open to all students and employees of the department of EE.
